Zubeiru Ibrahim scored a hattrick as King Faisal stunned Asante Kotoko 3-2 in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered their first defeat of the season in the Kumasi derby on match week six at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Cameroonian attacker Mfegue Omgba bagged a brace for Kotoko but it was enough as they lost the maximum points. However, the Reds still sit occur the top spot due to a better goal difference than King Faisal, who have moved level on points.

Bechem United held Great Olympics to a goalless draw, while Real Tamale United secured a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.

Legon Cities also played out a goalless draw with Ashanti Gold at Len Clay Stadium, leaving the two teams 12th and eighth, respectively on the league table.

Earlier on Saturday, Aduana Stars thrashed WAFA 3-0 to move up to third on the standings.
