Must Read

Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko both recorded victories against Accra Lions and Legon Cities respectively on match week nine of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Kofi Kordzi and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh gave the Phobians the maximum points after labouring to a goalless draw in the first half.

The win sees the defending Premier League champions move out of the relegation zone with three games in hand including their blockbuster clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko.

Elsewhere, Cameroonian forward Frank Mbella scored in either half as Asante Kotoko recorded a 2-1 win against Legon Cities at the theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

The victory gives the Porcupine Warriors their first win in three matches having failed to pick maximum points against Karela United, King Faisal, and Real Tamale United.

League leaders Aduana Stars extended their winning streak to six as they beat Berekum Chelsea 3-2 at the Agyemang Badu I Park at Dormaa.

Emmanuel Gyamfi grabbed a brace on his return from suspension as the two-time Champions rallied to a hard-fought win in a 5 goal thriller. Gyamfi scored in the 65th and 67th minutes of the match before Sam Adams added the third for the Ogya lads.
